Watchface for Samsung Gear S smartwatch
Info: Holo is a sophisticated watchface with wow-factor, inspired by HUD display from the Iron Man movie. With this project I won the first prize in Samsung's international contest "Design a new Gear Face". It was then developed and available for download from Samsung Gear Store. Design takes advantages of big screen, accelerometer and fast processor.
My role: idea, interaction concept, user interface design.
Functionality
Circles color informs about notifications, missed calls and steps during the day. Legend part switches to date stamp after a tap. The most important is of course the current time.
Reacts on hand movement
Impression of depth created by circles movement according to the accelerometer.
